Tycon Technoglass is a major supplier of glass-lined steel equipment. We specialize
in "high-profile", critical service applications that must maintain a very high
degree of reliability.
The company traces its history back
to the 1930's starting with the American firm, Glascote. Since
1997, it has been a major business unit of Robbins & Myers (NYSE listed - Dayton,
Ohio).
We have always emphasized research
and development of glass linings to improve their reliability beyond the norm.
Many major chemical and pharmaceutical companies believe that our '808' and Duravit
258 glasses are without equal for strength, corrosion resistance and overall
finish. In addition, we have virtually eliminated thermal shock as a major
consideration.
We are quite proud of the fact that
Tycon Technoglass supplied all the reactors and storage tanks on the largest single order
for glass lined steel equipment in the United States and world (more than 260 major glass
lined vessels on a single order).. This was a major endorsement of confidence in our
company by one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies as well as a their
engineering-contractor.
Tycon Technoglass has two complete
production plants with a total of 350,000 square feet under roof. We
